Getting Involved

Bow Community Primary School Parent Teacher Association

The Committee consists of a Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Secretary Treasurer, Teachers and Parents.

The Annual General Meeting is held once a year usually in September.  The Officers are elected and any new Parents can also join.  The meetings are held at School usually twice a term to discuss and arrange the next fund raising event.  The Association works closely with the School, The Governors, Investors in Parents and the Swimming pool Committee.

The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in the school.  In furtherance of this object the Association may: -

·         Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.

·         Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.

·         Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided from statutory funds) as the Committee in consultation with the Governing Body shall from time to time determine.
