Our heated outdoor swimming pool is open during the summer months for school swimming lessons, public sessions and private hire (you need to register once and login first). The pool is 14m x 6m with a safety ledge and rail running all the way around. A shallow area can be roped off for less able swimmers. The temperature is maintained at approximately 82°F (28°C) using solar whenever possible (also backed up by traditional heaters for the less sunny days).

Public Swim Sessions

During term time, public sessions are held 2-3pm Saturdays and Sundays.

During the summer holidays (see term dates), public sessions are held 2-3pm Monday to Saturday.

Public sessions cost £2 per person (free for under 3s) per hour. Every public session is covered by a qualified lifesaver. The maximum number of swimmers allowed in the pool at any one time is twenty (20) so be sure to arrive early on those roasting summer days!

Private Hire Booking

The pool is available for private hire outside of school time and public sessions on a first come first served basis. Private hire sessions cost £15 per hour for the pool, facilities (changing room, showers, toilet) and play equipment plus £5 for the grounds if required. Lifesavers for private sessions can also be arranged.

Follow this link to book the pool for private hire (you need to register once and login first), or you can call 01363 881406 and ask to speak to Charlie or Andy about booking the pool.

The Swimming Pool Management Committee would like to thank all supporters, contributors and pool users for their considerate and continuing use and care of the pool – a valuable asset for the school children and community alike.
