The beginning of the school day is a very busy time for children and parents. In the interests of the safety of the children and to avoid congestion, we ask you to walk to school if at all possible as many families are all trying to access the school at the same time.

The school grounds are for staff only parking, and should not be used as a pick-up or drop-off area apart from the School Bus.

Please also give consideration to the residents in the school area when driving and parking.

The School pursues a ‘Walk to School’ policy with enthusiasm and is constantly seeking ways to encourage this to happen. This is part of our Travel Plan for which the School has received a Travelwise Award. We also encourage children to cycle to school, and provide a cycle shelter within the school grounds, children are also encouraged to wear a safety helmet.
