Our School is always grateful for a helpful hand from a willing volunteer who has time to give. The School is a friendly environment where help is much appreciated, as the Teachers are very busy, and any extra help is a bonus for the pupils. Adults can help by listening to the children read and changing their reading books, also changing library books. General help within the classroom like filing the children’s work and helping with the activities they are working on is also appreciated. Children go on trips and extra adults are needed to supervise. During the summer months the children use the outside pool and you can give your time here to help with changing and applying the swimming hats. On sports day help is appreciated with the supervising and providing drinks.
If you have a special interest, why not bring this into school and show the pupils and let them have ago too. If you do have some time to spare and would like to help in school then let your child’s teacher know or call into the school and see the headteacher.
