1. The Parents:
I/we shall try to:
Ø Encourage children to do their best at all times;
Ø Support the Schools policies and guidelines for behaviour;
Ø Let the School know about any concerns or problems that might affect my childs work or behaviour;
Ø See that my child goes to School regularly, on time and properly equipped;
Ø Support my child in homework and other opportunities for home learning;
Ø Attend parents evening and discussions about my childs progress and, where possible, see childrens on-going work regularly on Friday mornings.
2. The School :
Will:
Ø Encourage children to do their best at all times.
Ø Apply the Schools policies and guidelines for behaviour.
Ø Let parents know about any concerns or problems that affect their childs work or behaviour;
Ø Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, punctuality or equipment;
Ø Set, mark and monitor homework.
Ø Arrange Parents Evenings during which progress and pupils action plans will be discussed;
Ø Send home annual reports.
Ø Keep Parents informed about School activities through regular letters home, Newsheets and notices about special events.
Ø Provide a broad, balanced curriculum which meets each childs individual needs.
Ø Have adults that conduct themselves in the manner that sets a good example to the children.
3.The child
I will:
Ø Remember all children have a right to learn and my teachers have a right to teach.
Ø Work to the best of my ability.
Ø Avoid hurting others.
Ø Be polite and good mannered.
Ø Care for the surroundings and the things that belong to me and other people.
Ø Behave safely.
Ø Treat others kindly.
Ø Try to be happy and go around with a smile.
